In Session 3, we will learn how to hit without getting hit.

This session will introduce the basics of sabaki- methods of positioning the body away from the opponent's line of attack.

Having learned how to turn your hands and feet into lethal weapons in the last sessions, it's time to make those punches and kicks count!

Preparations

• A practice space
  (a 2m clearing in all directions at least)
• A chair 
  (preferably with a backrest)
• Comfortable exercise attire
  (footwear not required)
• A towel 
  ​(to wipe yourself or the floor if it gets slippery)
• A partner (or more), if you can
