BENEFITS OF ASHIHARA KARATE |
The Ashihara dojo seeks to mould stronger individuals, while inspiring them with positive values of respect, compassion and social conscientiousness.
Training is physically intensive with great emphasis on partner-based drills, while being deeply rooted in Japanese martial etiquette or reishiki (礼式). This makes Ashihara Karate an excellent means of honing the physical body, while sharpening thinking skills and forging a strong fighting spirit and character. |
The safe and non-competitive nature of Ashihara Karate appeals to
Working Adults as a means of reclaiming personal health and vigor, while being an escape from the stress of work and other life commitments. |
Youths find excitement in
Ashihara Karate due to its dynamism, where they can channel their abundance of energy, pique their curiosities and positively develop their personal character. |
Where the formative stages are crucial in shaping character and physical well-being, Ashihara Karate benefits Children by exposing them to a fun and safe means of physical exercise that also develops useful social skills.
|
The Ashihara dojo follows the philosophy of
"challenge by choice", where safety is at the heart of our what we do. Our practice is non-competitive and there is no compulsion to participate in activities that you wish to abstain from. Our culture is one of mutual improvement, where the weak and strong help each other to advance step-by-step. All Instructors are certified by the New International Karate Org. (NIKO) to provide Ashihara Karate instruction. Their other related professional credentials include: > SG-Coach Certification by Sport Singapore, including Master Coach certification held by Vincent Shi > PA Lifestyles & Lifeskills Trainer Certification by the People's Association (PA) > Basic First-Aid Certification by a centre approved by the National Registry of Coaches (NOC) Learn More >> |
